So you may remember that I had mentioned that I was going to be at Pete Lindstrom’s AMP firehose in NY a while back?
Well, long story short, but I did go to it, and I did find it extremely valuable from a learning standpoint. Specifically, by “valuable”, I mean that I learned quite a bit about the advanced malware protection space generally, how the vendors in the space line up, what they do, how they work, etc. The format provided a rapid-fire, “no holds barred”, look at the good and the bad about the various products in the space. This space in particular is useful for a format like this one because it’s emerging and therefore the vendors in the space are on the smaller side and some of them are relative new.
In any event, once again he has provided me with a discounted registration code (I’m not sure how steep the discount is) for his Chicago event. The event details are here: https://www.regonline.com/builder/site/Default.aspx?EventID=1320193 and the code he gave me is “AMP-FOP”. Usual caveats apply: these are my personal views and do in no way reflect those of my employer, and since it’s a different crop of vendors at the Chicago event, anything I might tell you about the NY event is likely to be somewhat different, etc.
