So, as some of you remember, I’ve periodically guest-posted on various blogs. I’ve mostly stopped doing that because (believe it or not) it takes quite a bit of effort to write a blog post… at least one that passes the “is this worth saying” smoke-test (because, you know, if it’s not worth saying why do so). However, I did recently write something recently for the ISACA Now blog called “2014: The Year of Tough Questions.” Anyway, it’s short (to fit the style of that blog) so doesn’t require a ton of time investment to check out.
As a side note, the ISACA Now blog itself makes for a pretty good read. That’s not an “advertisement” per se — and full disclosure of course that I work there (but you knew that) so maybe mine is not the most impartial eye. However, I admit to being continuously surprised by the diversity of articles that appear in that venue. For example, I’m looking now at the list of the last few posts that ran and I think it’s a good illustration of what I mean about diversity here. It contains a call to action about cloud computing in the European public sector, a fairly technical (though not overwhelmingly so) analysis of the Dual-EC-DRBG issue (you may recall I covered this the other day), and a privacy-focused Q&A that covers everything from IoT to Big Data Analytics. See what I mean? Diversity.
Anyway, check it out or not at your leisure. If enough people read it, they’ll probably continue to have me there. So stay tuned for future updates. Or, if you don’t click the link, then maybe this’ll be it. Time will tell.
